Glenn aren't the alliances based on continuous dilution of the float? IOW, if PCLN keeps giving away stock in exchange for inventory, the "partners" will keep selling it.

For the suppliers, what better way is there to pump up your Qtr results than to sell tickets or rooms or groceries to PCLN at a loss, in return for PCLN stock that can be dumped into the float for a cap gain?

So isn't the continued growth of PCLN based on continuous share dilition? And doesn't this incentivize the insiders to sell their shares, too so they're not the last ones out?

I'd rather have a cap gain than income, and I'm just a person! Even better if you're a corp!
