Craig,
Hi!!
RE: I still believe that DELL is a great long term buy and hold, I am just frustrated here with the length of this delayed range trading.

Some great points there Craig... Interesting and frustrating at times to fantasize that if we did that or did this...During this flat period the management diversifying will be debated...obviously more frequently than when DELL was on a run.....I'm sure we all know that DELL management already owns a ton and will always be selling shares...Le'ts not forget that they will continue to get more options by their choice.."By their choice" is what I prefer to remember...Craig, I could wake up every morning and recall the day that I had 1000 shares of RHAT clicked in for the IPO and ready to pull when I decided not to....Or, the begging from one of my closest friends that told me to buy QCOM @79 (and I had the $$$ to buy 2000)....I've chosen to follow what I believe to be the course I am the most familiar with...One that I firmly believe will make me very rich...I haven't invested and studied this company to the extent I have and been wrong yet...I know the patience is killing me and others from time to time... I will maintain that the physical evidence and "verbal" evidence is there for those that are holding DELL...I trust the management...as long as DELL is still their #1 holding...I'm there!!
As for Kevin Rollins' comment: Remember he was walking out of an office building when a reporter stuck a microphone in his face...(The media attitude was similar to what they would ask the running back who fumbled on the one with :15seconds left)...The RB may punch the reporter...I believe Kevin was doing the same...verbally...

Best, kemble

Craig Lieberman-Well I for one agree with your strategy-hold but diversify a little bit.I now (the last person to buy-um own )a few others.-I also think MD and others should quit the scheduled sales bit and show some faith and give support to the troops."Would Patton have bartered his tanks for food at the Battle of the Bulge?"---This is war man and selling into a dead/dull market is akin treason.wbm

Your post makes some very valid points. You can of course expect the reply to contain the usual "hyperbole" heard a thousand times over.As time passes and DELL stock continues to flounder the hype is being dismissed by more and more as an unsupported position.
Cheers
Ed
