Sig, with respect to the IBM/Dell $17B agreement reached a number of months ago, do you know of any IBM technology that has been transferred to Dell? Or, how the component purchase part of the agreement is working out? I for one have not seen a thing with respect to the agreement. Any info you have will be appreciated. TIA Stock Bull

Sig, Hi!! RE: yahoo.cnet.com. There seems to be some important info in here as to why Dell and IBM chose to work together. The IBM contacts in Japan for P/C design , smaller lighter products and the LCD designs. Japan is a source of new ideas and a testing ground. IMO the first common product could be a laptop, both cos work on design, Dell may handle the production side either in-house or contracted out. I believe you are correct... :o) Best, Kemble
