He's worried, said some accountants came out with a study showing that earnings announcements don't matter, this worried Louis, could be a sign of a top, when people start saying you should look at sales and not earnings...

This is a paraphrase of a few of his comments...

From past experience Jim, the guy can be a snake. He has been known to pump and dump. I've had a chance to meet him. He rarely looks at ya in the eye...very sneaky impression.

From Beefing.com << The Nasdaq slide continues as broad-based profit taking has the tech-heavy average more than 60 points off its highs for the session... Impetus for the pullback was a report that the NYSE and Nasdaq are seeking SEC approval to raise margin requirements for daytraders while also requesting that daytrader accounts hold a minimum of $25,000 equity, up dramatically from the current $2,000 minimum... News just sucked the wind out of many of the momentum-driven high-flyers... From an industry standpoint, chip, chip equipment, and software issues have paced the tech pullback. >>

I would have to say that this is one of the silliest reason I have seen in a long time for a sell off. How many chump change daytraders are there that are there below $25k that would warrant the selling we are seeing? A poor excuse, and last of the great buying opportunities in QCOM, for that matter, any stock that you want to buy.
