While the quiet and blood slowly recede into the streets. Arcticwarrior uses his broom to sweep BHI into his trash heap littered with the likes of CRK BHI OEI NBL and the small guy called UNT.....Remember what Mr Freeze said first the capitulation then the receding of the blood and now the comming of the cold rush. Natural GAS....Hsssssss.....Natural Gasssssss.....If you don't have it by today good luck catching up....Don't know if anyone looked at the closing price of NG but you might have a look folks...

EW has it's moments for fear greed and mo mo but there are times...like these when the over riding fundementals speak volumes...
OEI buy down debt....New Producing Wells(Not even a blip on the chart showed...CRK successful Well fair run but not even close to the 9 dollars a share I'm holding out for...BHI no need to explain...NBL tick...tick...tick...get the picture? And last UNT...Solid management with cost cutting methods and a financial guy who shall we say can make the numbers shine and lock in the best price for oil.

Guys think about this...If Oil was over 25 per barrel and you did not lock in a hedge I don't think you would be in the oil business but in the speculation department...Get real most of these guys will hedge or have already hedged.
You can read about it in next quarters 10 Q's!

BOOM BOOM BOOM 2000.....You gotta believe!

George, well I agree that oil won't be seeing sub $20 any time soon (or much later for that matter), and if we do, it will be brief. OPEC has the ability to price oil where ever they please. The talk of 18-20 dollar oil was just that, talk. OPEC spread that word to inhibit exploration,... and it worked! The U.S. producers will catch on to this shortly and start to expand budgets. OPEC likes 20+ oil, since their total net earnings are so much higher given a marginal production cut.

I've been hearing about Y2K stockpiling lately, but where are they doing it? API inventories seem to be low to me. The counter argument, of course, is that, rather than unraveling the price of oil after New Year's, oil prices surge on production, transportation, and distribution problems. The oil futures should already have priced in any future expectations (including unraveling), especially those less than a month away.

Regards,

Richard

OT OT OT George, talk about not responding to good news. Take a look at the indicies today. Fabulous inflation news on the PPI front and what happens - down they go. Uh Oh.

Either the market ain't buyin' the inflation numbers or there just ain't enough dough around to push this mutha higher.
