Interliant First ASP to Offer End-to-End Hosting
Solution for Onyx Software

Onyx Alliance Gives Global Customers a Hosted Option for Deployment of CRM Applications

PURCHASE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 1999--Interliant, Inc. (NASDAQ:INIT - news), a leading application service provider (ASP), today announced it is the first global ASP to partner with Onyx Software to provide comprehensive hosted solutions for the company's customer relationship management (CRM) applications, Onyx Front Office and Onyx Enterprise Portal. Interliant's hosting offerings will give customers worldwide an economical way to implement a full-featured CRM solution without having to increase internal IT staff or expand their IT infrastructures. As part of the Onyx relationship, Interliant will
provide European customers with application set-up and configuration at its data center, operating system and application level administration as well as customer support. Outside of Europe, the implementation services will be initially offered through
Interliant partnerships with Onyx system integrators.

In related news today, Onyx announced that it has selected Interliant as one if its ASPiN partners. Onyx ASPiN is a global program that includes software, hardware and services companies working together and independently to deliver a wide-ranging set of unique hosted offerings based on the Onyx Front Office product family. Hosted offerings are designed to promote rapid delivery, lower IT costs, reduced risk, increased reliability and lower total cost of ownership.

''As one of Onyx's most experienced partners in the UK, Interliant offers hosting solutions that open the door for many emerging
enterprise organizations to access and leverage the power of Onyx Software's CRM solutions,'' said Brent Frei, president and CEO, Onyx Software. ''Together, we provide the emerging enterprise with a best-of-breed solution to help manage information across marketing, sales, service and support so that all team members can sell to and serve the customer. This offering combines extensive Onyx, Internet and e-commerce expertise, making Interliant an ideal global partner to offer hosted CRM solutions worldwide.''

Interliant's relationship with Onyx expands on Interliant's existing CRM consulting and system integration offerings. These offerings were strengthened by Interliant's recent acquisition of UK-based CRM integrator Sales Technology, Ltd., now part of Interliant's Consulting and Professional Services group. Sales Technology, Ltd. had been an Onyx partner for more than two years and has implemented CRM solutions to customers throughout the European marketplace.

According to Interliant customer, Dave Osborne, Managing Director of X-TANT Ltd., a UK telecommunications service provider: ''Our Onyx system, deployed by Interliant, has been operational for a little over two months and already the value we are deriving is well worth the initial investment. In a global and increasingly competitive marketplace the management and monitoring of our prospects and customers is critical. Using the Onyx CRM solution, we are now able to service and communicate with our customers easily and efficiently.''

''Interliant is committed to enabling customers of all sizes to capitalize on the power of today's leading CRM applications from
Onyx,'' said Jim Lidestri, president, Interliant, Inc. ''With our hosted Onyx offering, customers can quickly implement a cost-effective CRM solution in a matter of weeks, without worrying about managing or deploying the application themselves.''

Fees for Interliant's hosted Onyx offering start at $250 (U.S.D.) per month, per user and can be implemented in as little as 30 days.
