PVSW -- yes, I agree that it's largely overlooked as a Linux story. Tango 2000 for Linux should beat Cold Fusion 4.5 to market (CF 4.5 will include Linux support). Someone on the PVSW thread has claimed Tango 2000 will be the first Linux product in this space, period. I don't know if that's true, but beating Allaire there is important in itself.

Obviously, a Web application server for Linux makes a lot of sense, since the installed base of Linux servers is already substantial -- and growing rapidly.

For what it's worth, PVSW also has been overlooked as an information-appliance play. Its Pervasive.SQL 2000 product provides small-footprint functionality for embedded systems, mobile devices, and smart cards.
