QCharts is dead here. Connection died; it tried to switch to 204.178.114.90. That's where it is now, trying to connect to 204.178.114.90, and it won't recognize the cntl-alt-n sequence.

FINALLY it's back up.

Jeff -

Gibbons has acknowledged on several occasions that they have a connectivity problem w/Island. As such, best to rely on Island's own book rather than QCharts' copy of it. So far as the difference between ISLD:ANCC and NASDAQ:ANCC, yes, with ISLD: you'll see the entire Island book as QCharts has it and with NASDAQ: you'll see the best bid/ask for Island along with the other ECNs & MMs' best bids/asks. So far as why it doesn't happen with every stock, I'd guess in the absence of add'l information as to what you're referring to here that the ISLD: display is showing some stale quotes. This happens frequently as a result of the connectivity issue. In addition, both before and after market, my experience has been that QCharts' ISLD: display frequently just doesn't update.

Jay, if you're reading over Jeff's shoulder, do you have any update on the telco's efforts to install your new circuits to Island?
