I don't think any lawsuits have been filed. Here's a link to GraphOn's 11/16 press release:

www3.techstocks.com

Key passage from Citrix perspective:

"This patent deals with technology that is fundamental to server-based access of Windows applications from UNIX and Linux desktops. It provides cross-platform access to business-critical applications by organizations that may be UNIX or Linux-based, but use Windows applications, as well," said GraphOn president and CEO, Walt Keller. "In addition, this acquisition provides an excellent opportunity for GraphOn to license the patent to independent software vendors and other businesses."

So my guess would be that GraphOn will try to hit Citrix up for licensing fees before anyone thinks about going to court. Does GraphOn have a legitimate claim to these fees, I don't think any of us have enough visibility into the inner workings of the ICA clients to evaluate this. In either case, I still don't think it will turn out to be a big deal.

GOJO is a joke:

People who think Graphon is a serious threat to Citrix need to realize how far behind they are, and that Citrix continues to grow at an impressive clip.

"GraphOn Corporation develops and markets thin, server-based software to speed, centralize and simplify enterprise computing and enable efficient network deployment of applications to a wide variety of devices. For the nine months ended 9/30/99, total revenues rose 63% to $2.4 million. Net loss totalled $5.6 million, up from $1.4 million. Results reflect an increase in OEM license sales, offset by increased amortization and legal services costs."

Wow, pretty scary. NOT!
