I'm in Atlanta and have been with Mindspring for over 2 years and usually connect at 48000. I'd rate Mindspring 9 on a scale of 10. Sorry that you've had a problem. It can definately be annoying when you do. Glenn

I have a 56k modem and my average speed on Netcom/MSPG is 50666 bps. My main complaint with MindSpring is the email is off line too often, and what I think is net congestion. It some times takes forever for a page to download. Their tech support is wonderful. The staff bends over backwards to help, but now that I've seen the speed of cable net service I feel like I'm using an old 300 bode modem. I can't deal with AOL. I don't use chat rooms, and it gives me a headache with all the advertising, It's good if you are new to the Net. Once you know what the Net can do, AOL is like hanging out in Middle School, when you are ready for College. It is a good stock investment as is MindSpring. I just want tomorrow today. :-)
