Alohal, i only know that Tice publicly disclosed that he had no position in Tyco at the time of his report. i agree with you that investing in the BEARX fund was a foolish thing to do in recent years. it's time will undoubtedly come however. as for Tice, his research outfit does excellent work as far as i can tell. i don't think Tice is desperate...that's just not the impression i get when watching his public appearances or reading his commentary and research. like you, i am looking forward to what the SEC turns up. however, i suspect that Bermudas registered Tyco has more reason to worry than Tice. we'll see... regards, hb
