well, i don't doubt Tice's disclosure, but that's just a gut feel. when you watched Slick before the Grand Jury you could see he was lying. Tice just doesn't strike me as a liar.
but there's no need to guess...we will see what the SEC manages to uncover.
i presume you are aware of the actual report published by Tice? it was a very well researched piece...Tyco's hunger for acquisitions was bound to attract someone who tries to look beyond the hype that goes for 'analysis' these days on Wall Street. i can understand of course that people who were long Tyco are bitter over this, but then there were warning signs...Tyco insiders were heavy sellers of the stock BEFORE the report came out, all that was needed for the prudent investor was to pay some attention to that.
i'm sure that will be one of the points the SEC will be interested in as well...
