well, i have posted my misgivings about IBM often enough. remember when i was asked which Dow company was likely to warn? HWP beat IBM to it, but i still guessed right that IBM was going to be in trouble. now we have a situation were WS is driven by an unprecedented surge in malinvestment as one hopeless case after the other IPO's...in the meantime, they are taking away some business from the established co's, but once it becomes clear that the current open-ended fantasy is not going to produce even a fraction of the profits currently built into stock prices, the whole tech sector will collapse spectacularly, regardless of individual co's merits. still, i'd rather own IBM, even with it's current troubles than one of the fluff companies. at least IBM will likely survive.
