Basically, I do this as a business. I like to make a lot of relatively small profits during the course of the day, rather than try to swing for the home run.

we certainly differ there...surprised?

i prefer to do my dd properly and hit home runs.

day trading for teenies is like playing slots imo. day trading and doing well requires intense concentration, full-time monitoring, playing straddles and butterflies, and before and aftermarket study. in short it is a job. if you are good, you make wages and pay full taxes.

i prefer to pick winners...hit home runs...pay long-term capital gains...and spend my time at the beach walking, swimming and fishing. that is why i just went long rmbs again.
good luck trading,
unclewest

i can see why the mathematical probabilities of day trading would appeal to a physics type or engineer. i saw a lot of that when i lived in nevada.
