Their buying and selling appears slightly negative but almost balanced.

The news I talked about is coming from people who have connections close to the drilling and production action on the KOB thread. They have given out correct information to the thread, many times in advance of confirmation by NR or other source. A couple of the posters are located in Bakersfield, near the drillsites and go out with binoculars to watch the action. Their reports are particularly telling.

Edit: All the JV partners have printed a lot of paper in the last year to fund their working interest in the drilling which is quite expensive at tens of millions of dollars per hole. This paper will be coming out as people take profits, but the price increases can be quite explosive as the news filters out. We just got posts from a guy (LostHillsGuy) who is 5 miles out from the drillsite, and driving towards it. The plugged well is cleaned out now and flareing. The JV partners have experienced large price drops in the past weeks as problems had developed at the sites. Now those problems are clearing up, and the play looks ripe to jump again in the next few days as the news filters out.
