Thanks VG! If you are the same valley girl from a few years ago on the Sebl and orcl threads, then I know you know software.

So what you're saying is, Oracle can release ONE version of the database for all Linux release 1.0 (or whatever) from any vendor, be it rhat, sun, etc. Versioning is still an issue but thats more of an administrative thing.

If thats the case then Linux is ok.
