Wall Street Jr

What do you want me to say? Did you read what I said in post 2710? Here, let me say it again:

<That's right, don't expect the stock to go straight to $30. We will have periods of consolidation. However, as long as the industry stays solid, the real profits will accrue to those who stay with the stock.>

However, let me make a few observations:

1) There is a good chance that we completed the first leg of the correction today. Unless the semi's completely fall apart next week, we can reasonably expect a rally back towards Wednesday's high. Whether we go on to make new highs next week is not clear to me yet. I would expect that, short of any earth shattering news, after a rally we go back down to retest the 13 area.

2) However, if you want to know EXACTLY what the stock will do next week, you need to read the posts from the "day traders" on yahoo :-)

3) I think everyone who has been around this stock for years, should realize the importance of the SNDV coverage. I can assure you that the company has given some firm guidance to SNDV to get them to put their reputation on the line. This is the first time in 15 years that a major wall street firm has picked up coverage. Before you say what about Salomon, let me say in retrospect, I think Salomon's coverage was lip service in hopes of getting some investment banking business, and imo the analyst was weak.
I believe that Raphie knows people at SNDV, and I vaguely remember in one of my trips to Milpitas in the early 90's, him saying that when he gave the word that things were good, they would pick up coverage.

4) I also think more coverage is coming from TUCK and/or NEED.

5) I like the way the stock is trading now that we have some real mm's in there. I am starting to get a feel for how SNDV wants to have this stock trade. You can be assured that they are going to shake as many people as possible off this train before they pull it out of the station.

All I can say is - don't give up your seat!
