T, if your brother is going to listen to his broker, you are wasting your time. The brokers will all say that GMST, JDSU, and Q are overpriced or not recommended by them.

I am sure his broker has some house stock, on a tech IPO they are stuck with, that he will be glad to put him into.

He probably thinks GMST is too expensive relative to earnings. He probably does not understand valuation based upon revenue growth, market share, and future earnungs. Moreover, in my experience brokers just sell what the are told by their companies. They really don't know much.
