I second everything you said, Fred -- and I loved your last line. Had to look at it twice to realize what an "artist" you are... :-)

that needed to be said - we could all save each other a lot of time if the complaining stopped once and for all. try contributing some dd or ta.
best regards to all, especially Kimberly,
Peggy

Fred,, I guess this is as good a time as any to post this although I will probably make the SI top ten list of ignored persons after I'm done.

I have only been on this thread for a couple of months however, I see a pattern developing that is alarming. As good as Kim is at picking stocks, She is only human. I see her posting less and less lately and quite honestly I don't blame her. If you go back and look at her posts they all get 5 to 10 replies. Most of which are from people asking her to check out a stock (Interpreted as please endorse the stock I already own).. It seems like the desire to exploit Kim has superceded good trading habits.

Another thing, Kim doesn't make all the picks here.. Some are mentioned hours before she "endorses" them and later every other post is "Kimmie's this" and "Kimmie's that". There are more quality traders here than I have ever encountered anywhere else. The success of this thread is based on that fact and that fact alone. If Kim were the only one making good picks, This would be more like the Daytraders chat room over at IRC where one or two profit while everyone else contributes..

And finally, Leave Kimberly alone. Not only is it rediculous to place any blame anywhere but firmly between your own two shoulder blades, You forget that it was Kimberly who gave you all great picks like ISLD. She is human and only shares her thoughts with you. We make are own trades..

The sheep mentality must stop.. Ask the thread about stocks, Don't place all that responsibility on one person. Even Kim's got to feel a little pressure with so many people here hanging on her every post.. And its the sheep mentality thet makes us prey to devout shorters like A@P.. It would be very easy for him to wait for Kim to post and the short the 2 point pop that we create. Not that he does but we are easy prey if we aren't a little more careful.

I guess the moral to this is be your own trader.. Use this thread as a learning tool not a Trading Bible. And most importantly whatever descicions you make, be big enough to take resposibility for your actions. Nobody here ewants anybody else to lose money. We simply can't get them all right.

Sorry this got so long..

Good Luck,

M

Fred,

Now that the market is closed - and things aren't so hectic - I wanted to respond to your post.

I like your style!

Nicely and succinctly said, Fred -

People are giving their best efforts to give winning picks, if they are wrong, so be it... Do your own DD, take responsibility for your own trades and don't let the door hit you in the (_i_) as you leave.

As well as your 'colorful' ascii picture...:-)

One of my trades today was a losing trade. Who's fault is it?
Mine. And mine alone.

Holding some SBAS and SKDS myself.
