Man, you are fast! Don't look to me to defend football. At least they are all dressed. IMO one of the worst developments in consumer products is the advent of the screw-on cap 20-oz soft drink bottles. When we were kids, we drank soft-drinks once or twice a week. You opened an 8 or 10-ounze bottle, downed the stuff, and that was it. Now soft drinks have all but taken the place of water. People carry the big bottles with them and swig from them all day. There can be blatant health effects by the time a person is 25 or 30. Your comments about osteoporosis are interesting. There is no phosphoric acid in Fresca. My bones are apparently getting heavier--it's the only explanation for weight gain that I can think of. <g> Regards, Suzanne

>>As for having a "deal" with Coke, from personal experience, until that deal is actually in the stage of execution (not an agreement to agree), don't count on it.<<

I agree with you regarding execution, but disagree with you regarding football.
