One more positive vote for MSDW. I have been with Lombard/Discover/MSDW for a while (more than 3 years). This was my first IPO and was lucky to get it.

I believe all the difficulties they had with their servers today was because of the high demand for this IPO. I think thousands of people was trying to check on their IPO status throughout the day.

Good luck to all.

I feel a tad foolish, but lucky. Earlier today, I posted a message here (right after FMKT opened) saying that I was not allocated any shares. The same thing that happened to you, happened to me as well. When I saw the not allocated message in "My offering", I logged off the net for the day feeling a little disapointed. Well, I logged on about an hour ago, and sure enough I was indeed allocated 50 shares. So now I am 1 out of 2 in the IPO game with MSDW. For those that want to know, my balance was around 125K coming into today.

If you trade during the day, I would agree that thier web site might be a problem, unless they do some serious upgrading. I don't usually execute many trades during the day, so I can live with their web problems and their higher commissions if they give me an occaisional hot IPO. How long are you guys planning on holding FMKT? I'm thinking that MSDW will be monitoring this closely for future IPO allocations.

Hopefully, we can soon begin discussions on the merits of our newest investment. Good luck to all! I feel much better now!
