Does a combination of ORTEL and MRVC make sense? Or could it be Tellium that is driving Ortel? Could even be a good takeover target. Just so many possibilities are out there that selling (ORTEL)might be too risky. The sellers just dried up on this one.
Long both.

Pat, I remember you from the AMATI days. Made my first 100K for a single issue on that one. Only to lose 80% on the summer CRASH of '96. That was character building let me tell ya.

Would like your perspective on VRTL. I read their annoucement yesterday, and was impressed that Tellium chose them.

Will Tellium pay them a license fee for loading there software on its hardware. Is VRTL like IBM's Tivoli, or HP's openview platform.

Thanks in advance.

jim

<<I'm terribly curious what happened. This and MRVC both started moving about the same time. >>

The answer is simple. It is called the "Pat Mudge Factor" <g>.Looks like you've reclaimed your GURU status from Motley Fool/Amati days. Pat, pls keep sending your ideas my way and I'll reciprocate. Check out OMKT and PCMS at your convenience . Right now, I feel OMKT is probably a higher probability of success( less riskier ) vs PCMS..Look at OMKT valuation versus BVSN and VIGN. Does it remind you of the CMTO vs TERN valuation discrepency? Cheers.
