Leigh,

What Michael Dell needs to do, or must do, at this time is go on CNBC and firmly state that Dell is going to make its revenue growth. In fact, he needs to address the health of the company, and the marketplace that he's serves.

When the Analysts announced that EMC was going to slow down due to Y2K concerns, their President went on CNBC and flatly denied there was a slow down. He was firm, and presented his own customer survey data to support his position. He helped stem the slide in their stock's price.

If Michael Dell doesn't do the same, he is saying that Dan Niles is right. It's time that MD stepped up to the plate and defended his company, and the shareholders. It would also be wise for him, and his team, to stop selling their shares at a time when the stock is under so much pressure. I too, am getting concerned as to what Dell, the company, is doing.

Oh well, I'll get off my soap box for now.
