Black Hawk Mining Inc. Announces Recovery Of Gold Shipment Symbol: BHK Toronto, Ontario BLACK HAWK MINING INC. (TSE-BHK) is pleased to announce that on Saturday December 11, it recovered the gold shipment which had been seized by the Town of Lynn Lake on December 6. As previously announced (see Black Hawk's News Release of Dec. 7) the Town of Lynn Lake seized approximately 2,400 ounces of gold produced at the Keystone Gold Mine in northern Manitoba. The gold was seized as a result of claims over municipal taxes. Black Hawk has been paying fees specified under a long-standing Townsite Agreement and remains of the view that it is not subject to further taxes and is not in arrears. On Friday Dec. 10 the Company and the Town agreed to an arrangement whereby the Town would immediately release the gold to Black Hawk and agreed not to seize any further Company assets in respect of its claims until those claims have been finally resolved by agreement or an order of the Court. In accordance with the agreed conditions, the Town delivered up possession of the seized gold bullion on December 11.
