My take: an enormous amount of wealth is being and will be created by high tech stocks . The key is to recognize that the market works in cycles - to take profits on euphoria and to buy on fear. In weeks or months the so-called bubble will deflate and the press will be talking about the bubble bursting - but it will not burst. because we are talking about incredible growth in an otherwise low growth economy. when the press is carrying stories about the bubble bursting - buy like crazy. this cycle occurs at least a couple of times a year and working it properly can result in mid to high double digit, maybe even triple digit annual returns. staying focused on a limited number of companies and knowing them well helps, also having the discipline to take profits and sit on cash for appropriate buying opp. i think largest gains will be in stocks with caps in the $100 M to $5 B range.

another phenomena that occurs in nov. and dec is small caps in tech sector exploding on news. best to identify sector and sit on stock rather than chasing stocks. also best to do this with small portion of portfolio and to recognize this as speculation.
