Revenues up 137% for Bitstream for the third quarter in report dated November 2. Company clearly leader in XML based MPower composition engine. Agreements with IBM ,Netscape, BEOS. Bitstream software is embedded in computer screens, palm-tops,etc. Another rumor on various chat boards is that an annoucement is coming for BITS after the close on monday. Other XML companies have gained 200% in recent weeks, LEAF, INSO, VIAD, FORM, ODIS, & WEBB. Another article to read is from ZDNet dated December 7, at 3:26 PM by Mary Jo Foly. The article outlines how Microsoft is switching to XML. Moreover, Sun's director of global software says "there's not a significant industry thats not working on metadata standards for XML." IMO, XML will be the next hot sector after Linux.
