You are right about the after hours volume at Island. You really need a good level II to see the full picture of after hours. I use Quote.com's package. It allows me to see all the ECN's and the island as well. I noticed something odd on MARG after hours friday though. Everything was rolling along nicely on ISLAND on this stock and it was bidding up and everyone was having fun scalping a few bucks. All of a sudden REDI and INCA jumped in and started bidding it down and flashing some low bids and asks. This spooked a few traders and then REDI & INCA went away. The island then got rolling again and then they jumped in again and lowballed things. Is this just some after hours shennagains by some trading desk ?? Anybody care to educate me on what might have been going on??
