You're right about the wife business.

Thinking back - every time she has suggested that I take the day off for some reason or another, not feeling well, not following rules or family circumstances that interfere with a relaxed trading day - I have always done poorly.

So lesson learned today is - LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE MORE. Because she actually means well. She wants you to do well and knows you better than you think.
