What you need is a quiet month, or year, on San Juan Island. You couldn't find a traffic jam here if you tried. We have two (count'em two) great wine shops for those who care about that kind of thing. And our stylist would have called you if you hadn't shown up to make sure you were okay and didn't need looking in on. So you don't make as much money here. I've gotten to the point where there are a lot more important things than money in my life (as long as I keep having enough to live comfortably on!) I look out my office window onto a quiet street (though one of our main drags) over a vacant field where the kids play ball in the summer and the dogs chase frisbees all year, to the treed hillside above it, and a peek-a-boo view of the water. Drive home 15 minutes maybe seeing a dozen or two cars on the way to a little house in the woods on the water. I may not be rich, but I sure as hell wouldn't trade lives with anybody still in the rat race.
