Frustrated Cops To Jump Ship - (SEATTLE) -- Hundreds of frustrated Seattle Police officers are planning to leave the
city and take jobs with the King County Sheriff's Department instead. KOMO Television News reports that Sheriff Dave
Reichert has been critical of the Seattle Police Department's handling of the protests surrounding the World Trade
Organization talks, charging that police officials failed to coordinate with other law enforcement agencies. KOMO T-V
reports that Reichert and Mayor Paul Schell apparently had an "unpleasant" verbal exchange during the crisis, but later
apologized to one another.
