LAST three days morning calls--in response to several pms I got which asked: "how did you call SKYC Wednesday, TLCM Thursday, and APAC Friday?" my answer is a good follow on to Jenna's post on BRNC and my response.

You need a good overall chart (i.e. BEFORE the day in question). I then look for a strong fundamental reason (news, analysts comments, etc.). I then watch the stock to see whether it responds (is there volume, is it making higher highs, what are the five and ten minute bars doing) technically on the day in question.

These three things together do not always work (as my calls do not always), but together they are a very powerful combination.

Jenna, I picked up some shares of DOCC this morning after they announced a contract with CKFR: biz.yahoo.com
DOCC is an interesting company:
18% owned by SFE and SFE chairman sits on DOCC board
XRX vp sits on DOCC board
No debt
1 million share buyback in process
16 million in cash
30% revenue and earnings growth

Check it out and let me know what you think.
