I don't think they'll try another multiple release after last month's debacle!

If they intend to close the deal before Dec 31 then I expect it will be closed before Dec 24 as it is practically impossible to get closure on any deal during the week of Christmas. That gives us 2 weeks. I do not think this will preclude them from making an announcement similar to VENs today to communicate 'explicitly' rather than 'implicitly' to the public the change in corporate direction, the proposed name change and a pre announcement of it's next deal under consideration.(in the bag really)

The company has done virtually no promotion as yet and while I would expect anything major to begin in the new year, the continued steps of positioning can and should happen as we close 99 IMHO. The sharpening of market interest should build and lead up to the January market which in all likelyhood will be quite robust once we get past the Y2K paranoia. I would see that as the beginning of most companys promo for 2000. As such there will be lots of competition for those investor dollars then. That is why now is the time to be priming and preparing the market. I won't pretend to be advisor to the company of course but I think this makes sense. Any comments from the galary are welcome.

I sure hope so! I didn't mean to sound neg. with last post. It's psychological. If we keep expecting or promoting great news next or near future and don't get it, the thread will over react negatively. Normal response. If we expect boring and get it, no problems. If we get great news instead, what a blessing. No matter how we look at it, we are going to get to the same end which will be whenever the company chooses. My attitude just helps roll with the punches if there are any. Good luck to all. I managed to pick up a few more at 1.10. Lucky. "Ontopequity" sure sounds pos. on the Stockhouse thread. Another pos. to bolster the group.
Looking better & better. Watching some of the other action last few days sure makes one envious if not involved. Our turn soon I hope.
Regards
Gordo

>>"Both parties intend to close the transaction on or BEFORE December 31, 1999" <<

Now that would be a nice way to bring in the new year. I am looking forward to seeing your updated summary on the thread. However, for a number of great reasons, I will not be reading it for awhile as I will have other more important things to occupy my time. <ggg>

Yes folks, today is the day. Aside from the fact that it is my daughter's 9th birthday, it is also the day when the whole Crazy Crew (our family) hops on a plane and heads to Disney World for 12 days. As all holidays do, this one came up much to soon while at the same time it seemed to take forever to arrive.

Yup, I am really looking forward to this trip, as it has been a long time coming. I also am looking forward to what this coming year will bring for shareholders of JDX. I want the millennium to start because I am sure our party is just about to get started!

So take care everyone, and have a happy, healthy, and safe holiday!
