Just received the new issue of The Red Herring magazine, and they list their 10 stock picks for the next century:

Sun, EMC, Dell, Schwab, Time-Warner, Cisco, a couple others I can't remember, and a little gem called.....

Broadcom.

Jean, I'm going to make you feel a little better. I 'averaged up' into BRCM @ approx. $139 and then it went south to about $104 (made me sick), but look at it now. In my opinion, you invested in a terrific company with fantastic management -- hold on and enjoy the ride, and welcome aboard.
