I understand that everyone has the right to reveal/withold whatever info they want for whatever reason. However, knowing a few basic facts about a person such as their country of origin helps me put their remarks in better context. It certainly is not a requirement, but on a thread like, this it is common. The level of familiarity here is one of the reasons I call this thread home. It makes posting and reading more fun and more meaningful for me. To each their own.
