"I had $4500 in a Fund and my friend, Spreck, begged me to buy my 13 year old 50 shares and I did. That was June, '98. She has 400 shares today" Andy, I had $120,000 2 yrs ago, and now only have 400 shares of AOL to show for it...considering your daughter own the same amount as me, but started with just $4,500, I'd say it is "I" who should be congratulating you on that purchase! :)
