Merced Trader,

Thanks for the info regarding insider selling at TYC. I believe I have done my own DD and I have paid very little attention to what the anal-cysts have been saying. Actually, I generally give very little credence to insider selling, as well. Members of management can, and often do, sell stock for any number of reasons, very few of which provide any meaningful insight as to the health of the company. Also, while generally even less of an indicator, I would be interested in seeing accurate numbers for: 1) Company buying back their stock during yesterday, 12/10 and 2) Insider buying of the stock yesterday. This may or may not tell us anything, but sure would be interesting, at least.

Early this week we will get to see the company's 10-K for '99 and will get the latest info on the company's recent financial performance & fundamentals, including cash flow. This report will have been audited and signed off by 3 separate accounting firms.

All of that aside, I still find it very hard to believe that any one that is "guilty" would open their books and invite an SEC investigation--not to mention publicize it, as well.

As usual, time will provide the answers.
