Thanks for the specifics, Khan. I have not encountered such problems after about 5 months of heavy usage. Have you by chance mentioned these to your service provider? I'm sure QCOM would like to know about these if they do not already know.

I know that consumers are not expected to read the user's manual, but does it by chance mention anything about these bugs?

Another concerned shareholder,
-Jay

lkj, Sorry to hear about all of the problems you are encountering. To bad there isn't a lemon law for cell phones. I am certain that your problems must be one in a million. I have a Nokia 6162 through work, and the Q thin phone for personal use, and I can tell you without a doubt that the Thin Phone is one of the finest phones I have ever owned. I am very happy with it, and would take it over my Nokia any time. And, I have had absolutely no bugs.

Regards,

Jeff

Khan- I been using use my 2760 thin phone over 1000 minutes a month and have never had a SINGLE problem with anything. I have close to ten friends who use them too and everyone is extremely positive about the phone. Simply put, we all absolutely love the phones. I have no idea what you are talking about. I suggest you trade yours in for a new one.

Who is your carrier?

Caxton

An unacceptable bug I encountered was that my phone got into a state, where it couldn't make any calls, even with full power strength. I had to let the battery to die to reset it.

I've used my Thinphone for over four months and have experienced one minor problem (it's even mentioned in the user manual). At certain times when using an additional battery, the phone will not turn off unless you pop the extended battery off and then turn the phone off. Other than that one minor inconvenience, I have experienced no poor or erratic behavior.

You may be too quick to blame the Thinphone for your problem. Many problems, including the one you mention above, could be faulty or poorly configured software in the base stations. Remember, digital phones do not operate in a vacuum, they interact with and are part of a larger network.
