I was going to comment on xrx trading today, but it looks like the decline came in after hours trading.

Re hot threads and P&D. There's something to be said for that, especially in the more thinly traded stuff, when one of the SI gooroos issues the call and the slaves pile in. I monitor those threads so I can fade those moves <G>. Works well quite often if you can stand the initial irritation.

< Don't we notice things and discuss them on this thread
long before the press and J6P figure them out. We noted that April 98 was the true top
back in April 98. The press didn't start saying this until late this summer. We have been
talking about the lousy breadth of the rallies for eons and noted this rally was on spindly
legs from the beginning. Now the press is just starting to comment on it. People come
here finding fault with the thread and our calls for anti-bullish posts not realizing we are
not wrong, we are just early<g> Only 27% of stocks are up. That means that
somewhere out there 73% of people are holding losers. We focus onteh winners but we
lose sight of the majority by doing so. >

Hi Lee,

MDA thread happens to be a thread I frequent on a daily basis, to get a solid perspective of market direction, expectations and perceptions of many of the pros who contribute their thoughts.

That, in itself, could be good and bad...yes, early to the game, but the game has to be played. This current run, inredible as it has been, will come to an end only to be played again. And while played, what can be the most frustrating experience is watching from the bench, a place I've visited a couple times only begging the coach to be back on the playing field.

Keep up the great work, yes, I've noticed the calls are in advance and proceed with caution as it seems most folks expect a pullback of some magnitude. It's amzing, though, that just as we seem to enter a correction of the major averages, the buyers come in and seize the intraday dip. MDA has for sometime waved a flag of caution and, you bet, I've taken notice...

Meanwhile, I'm back to following the small money on the long side, and good for you on the fade, a technique which I've admired for a couple years, but have yet to venture.

thanks to all...!

This is a fascinating conclusion from the [presumed] fact that you state.
