DH: I did my weekly checkup on RMBS related products orders and shipments on Ingram and Tech Data online ordering systems. The numbers below are all speeds and densities combined boys and girls. RIMMs Vendor Backordered On Order Compaq 39 81 HP 0 0 Kingston 6 9 Total 45 86 These numbers represent about 10 cancellations of customer orders from last week and about 10 additional inventory items ordered by Ingram. 820 chipset mobos CC820 -- no boards available for last two weeks approximately 1000 boards are scheduled to come in next 4 days. About 6000 backordered by dealers. I will update if these start to come in because it represents Intel's commitment to 820 chipset in volume production. VC820 and OR840 -- no boards ever received; new arrival dates NOW IN JAN. MISC. I saw on Tech Data web site a arrival date for this coming week for about 30 Supermicro RDRAM capable 820 chipset mobos. Good luck ST john
