i have not seen it mentioned, but keep in mind digimarc products support both pc and macs.

Q: What file formats are supported by the Digimarc Batch Embedder?

A: Windows: The Batch Embedder will read BMP, JPEG, LeadTools CMP, TIFF (uncompressed), PICT, PCX, PNG, PSD, and Targa file formats. Images can be output as JPEG, uncompressed TIFF, or BMP format. Note that GIF and TIFF-LZW are not supported.

Mac: The Batch embedder will read any file format supported by QuickTime 3 including BMP, PNG, Targa, TIFF, PICT, QTIF, MacPaint, Photoshop (versions 2.5 and 3.0), Silicon Graphics, GIF, JFIF/JPEG and QuickDraw GX Picture (if QuickDraw GX is installed). It will write PICT or JPEG files.
