Malcolm...as always, solid insights...the simple truth is that due to the fact that SFTBF requires me to go through a live broker, I am less apt to trade on either emotions or based on the fact that its trending up or down on a specific day...I did a pretty sobering exercise where I calculated my gains on a portfolio I bought about 2 1/2 yrs ago with Oracle, Sun, EMC, SEBL and a few others...sold 'em all except for SEBL...while I've still done fine overall, had I held, my portfolio would have been worth considerably more, not to mention my broker and the taxman getting wealthier...some of these I was conflicted out of by my firm and had to sell, others I just got cold feet on for one reason or another...Softbank is the ONLY stock I hold that I have EVERY confidence in holding for years.
