As a latecomer to this stock, I have been buying rather than selling. So, I can't relate to those who have been involved with the stock and this board for a relatively longer time and with a level of disappointment I don't have and hope not to have. To me it was quite evident in June that momentum was building for VOD. The postings on this board told me there was a cadre of long-time investors passionate about the company and its prospects. tmrent, however, was one of the few posting actual information about the technology, even if much of it was of the competitors' technology. But given that the market is in its infancy and no one company could have it all, merely knowing there was a flock of VOD buzzards looking for business was enough for me. Regarding the "foundation of quicksand" analogy, once an investor sinks by such a mis-step, the better prepared he/she should be for the future. And if an investor doesn't know the territory, it is best to carry a map, a compass, and not venture too deep into the wilderness. In other words, when taking someone's advice, invest slowly until the advice you take is yours. I write from experience. Although I can empathize with them, I don't have too much sympathy for those who sold CCUR at $5 or $7 (unless they actually lost their shirts), as I was buying beginning at $6 and have done quite well. As I have noted, and I am a careful reader, I have not seen since June any tmrent warning to the thread about Concurrent. What I saw was a feud between him and many others; I interpreted his responses in that light. I have been on occasion a slow seller, a slow buyer, a quick seller and a quick buyer, and I don't know which one works the best. Happy holidays to you. Starowl
