I think the wheat and chaff issue is as important as the gross overvaluation issue. Think back to the early days of "high tech" when MSFT went public. Could have purchased a lot of other "high tech" companies then that looked good at the time... many of which don't even exist today. Perhaps out of the frenzy (even if the bubble pops), some of the current issues will be meritorious. But certainly, not all of them. Very interesting times.
