Good question. I haven't done statistics, but it seems to catch many down moves. Much better generally at fading moves then standard TA, which generally needs to have a change in direction in place before triggering the signal. I look at other things as well, forks, candlesticks, etc and then decide. e.g. a sell signal when the price si hitting resistance and a negative candlestick pattern is seen has a good chance of being profitable...
