Yes, I know that you try to protect small investor's from being suckered into a momentum play or into the bb stocks, but with an open thread it does become a problem.

You're right regarding Kim's thread and the momo players. I started looking in there a couple of weeks ago, and watched after she put out a call. The daytraders jumped on it so quickly, and the stock price catapulted. I'm not equipped to trade in that manner. I found that watching her picks and waiting for the shakeout, and then after doing some DD, taking a position can pay off with good results.

It's all about being responsible for what you do. I've harped on this before, but too many people want to reap the rewards without wanting to accept the risks that come along.

To all new people on the thread: Do your own work and DD. Tim, along with others here, find good value stocks. Don't buy anything just because somebody says to, unless your willing to suffer the consequences.

Don't listen to hype. Learn who you can trust.

There's no doubt the MM's have her thread wired. 1 minute after one her picks, they jack up the bid/ask so fast. Amazing. Now I believe her picks are targets of shorters.
