Paul went into the Jews on the Jewish Sabbath and reasoned about Jesus with them. He did not worship with them. Jewish synagogues as I understand them are a place where men debated even as here to discover God's truth from the word.

Paul could not and would not dream of "worshipping" at the Alter after the reality was here. Jesus is the eight day but we still keep one day out of seven.

Hebrews 13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

Jews who try to keep their traditions and sacrificial system deny the reality and have no part in it. Paul teaches that men had to choose.

Because Jesus in the new covenant changed to the day of circumcision even the eight. Paul and others could continue to witness to their Jewish friends and families and yet keep the Christian Sabbath. If you honestly need more info on the change of the day. Fine. If your just "fooling" with me then shame on you.

The Christian Sabbath is derived from the practice of early Church worship. They worshipped on what we call "Sunday" or the day after the Jewish Sabbath when Jesus rose and appeared to them on several occasions. There was a time of transformation until 70 AD when it was ended by God. A time of Ignorance that God may have winked at. I do not judge the seventh day people for keeping "saturns day" rather than "sun day" but I do judge men who use that as an excuse for keeping no day!

Jesus is our circumcision. Circumcision is to be done on the eighth day. It is the First Day of the New Covenant in Christ Jesus. It was signified even by Noah being the Picture and Figure of Baptism into the Death of Jesus:

1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism
doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

The Last day of the week represents a resting from Labour.

We start our week in the finished work of God the First day. It is His work that we enjoy and not our own.

We are the Circumcision who Trust that Jesus put off the flesh for us and is our Sabbath.

We do not overturn God's Law by God's Grace.

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

RE>>Scripture acknowledges the Sabbath <<

Even as here:

Matthew 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Not in winter nor on the Sabbath because that would complicate things for those who would not dare go more than a mile with a bed roll under their arm ! They needed to get out of Jerusalem when the sign was shown.

Just because the Pharasees ( not all ) changed the Law of God and therefore needed to be rebuked they did it by their own traditions and not God's Word. Jesus did not cast away His Law but cast away only what they had done to pervert it.

The Fourth Commandment does not say seventh "day" Day does not appear in the original Hebrew. It was a principle based on creation 1 day out of 7 to be kept HOLY ( separate and different )

The Christian Church has kept Sunday from the time of the apostles. It was not changed by the Pope or Rome though they boast it was them.

I have studied this subject before.
