"But we'll make up for it in volume!" doesnt impress me. Take away Yahoo's interest income and their balance sheet is FIRMLY IN THE RED. Bigtime.

KIS doesn't know the difference between a balance sheet and an income statement. AOL didn't hit $95 yesterday. Why is he here?

Companies will pay for this - on a transaction basis, gladly. Lizzie - I have to disagree with you on this one. There may be some web-based applications that companies may be willing to pay for on a transaction basis - but I don't believe calendaring is one of them. Mainly because the technology is rather simple - my company (Softagon) actually created a web-based calendar application that had functionality similar to what you see on Yahoo - and it was not a difficult project. As such, there are many competitors in this space - and I see future competitors offering off the shelf web calendaring apps that can run on corporate intranets (which may be an even better model than internet based calendaring - due to security issues).
