I've been there, and lost money getting duped into these momo plays.

There are two things that I've tried to learn in trading:

1. Have patience
2. Don't have emotion

This is a business, not a game. I approach every trade (well almost every trade) very logically. You need to look at the company, the momentum, the future, and have a limit set both up and down regarding price. You need to know why you are buying the stock, and what you plan to do if it doesn't go in your direction.

I can still loose money on a trade, but as my skills improve, I hope to minimize those losses, and maximize the wins.

Watching you, helps me.
