TLM, thanks for the article. The same story was reported on Business Center couple of nights ago. I think we'll hear more of the same subject next year. By this time next year, majority of e-tailers will have live one-on-one customer interaction on the web. eShare will capture a large market share as it has.

Regards,

Tom

R.R. Donnelley Online Services Introduces ePublish,
Web Site Solutions For Magazine Publishers

Turnkey Solutions Help Magazines Maximize Web Presence and Investment

CHICAGO, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley Online Services, the
Internet solutions group of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE: DNY),
today announced it will offer magazine publishers ePublish -- a turnkey,
cost-effective and scalable web solution to help them extend and enhance
their brands online, as well as better serve their readers and advertisers.
ePublish ( www.rrd-epublish.com ) will design, build and run web sites for
magazine companies, incorporating tools and technologies that are centered
on content management, community building and commerce.

"Developing and managing a good web site requires a significant investment
of dollars and personnel, yet many magazines simply don't have the internal
resources dedicated to developing and supporting an Internet strategy," said
Kimberly Williams, vice president of R.R. Donnelley Online Services.
"ePublish offers these publishers an opportunity to have a smart, highly
functional web site at a manageable cost, while allowing them to focus on
their core business. And because R.R. Donnelley has been working with
magazine publishers for more than 100 years, we understand their unique
issues and challenges and therefore can integrate into their business more
effectively."

ePublish will bring leading technology and functionality to its product platform
to meet the demanding needs of magazine publishers and online users,
delivering fully integrated services that encompass design, construction, and
ongoing implementation and enhancement. R.R. Donnelley Online Services
has formed strategic alliances with market-leading companies to ensure
best-of- breed solutions will be available to clients. These alliances currently
include:

-- Vignette's StoryServer for content management;
-- eShare's Expressions for chat and message boards;
-- Message Media for e-mail newsletters;
-- R.R. Donnelley's E-Commerce solutions;
-- DoubleClick/NetGravity for ad serving;
-- B2BWorks' business-to-business ad sales network; and
-- net.Genesis' net.Analysis for site reporting and analysis.

Additional features and functionality will be incorporated into the ePublish
platform on an ongoing basis to ensure ePublish continues to meet the
expanding needs of magazines, their audiences and their advertisers.

ePublish is premiering with two pilot partners, Lifestyle Ventures and Clapper
Communications. Both companies will use ePublish to enhance existing web
sites and provide readers with a full array of capabilities that will strengthen
relationships and add value to the core product. In addition, the enhanced web
sites will include a broad range of options for advertisers to reach their target
audiences. Lifestyle Ventures is the publisher of American Cheerleader,
Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher and Stage Directions; Clapper Communications
is the publisher of Crafts 'n Things, Painting, Pack-o-Fun, The Cross Stitcher,
Baby Craft and Angel Crafts.

"We are delighted that R.R. Donnelley has selected Lifestyle Ventures as the
first to be developed on this new platform," said Michael Weiskopf, CEO of
Lifestyle Ventures. "ePublish will allow us to offer a full range of highly
sought-after capabilities, and we are very excited about the ways in which we
can become involved with our readers and serve our growing community."

This latest addition to the Online Services portfolio demonstrates R.R.
Donnelley's commitment to help its customers reach end consumers through
multiple communications channels and to build on its core competencies in
print to launch new growth opportunities. "We recognize that our customers
have a growing need to communicate effectively across a broad range of
media to succeed," said William L. Davis, chairman and CEO of R.R.
Donnelley. "Through our Online Services group, R.R. Donnelley can offer our
customers a full range of integrated, cross-platform solutions, from print to the
Internet."
