Well if I recall correctly I actually think the verbal portion tested logic moreso than the math too. All the math did was ask a bunch of canned geometry questions. The verbal required reasoning in the interpretation of the stories, and the synonyms and antonyms - unless you actually KNEW the words there was logic involved. I also have a hunch that people born in the US score the lowest on the verbal portion vs. foreign nationals, as a group. Hey does anybody know anyone who scored in the 300s on verbal? Now that would be an achievement! I know a lot of 400s, in fact its an industry joke at this point I think.
